The popular 90s crooner is finding himself at the center of controversy just days after former girlfriend Gloria Velez accused Aaron Hall of taking advantage of her as a teen. New allegations have emerged from a woman who came forward and accused Hall and Diddy of sexually assaulting her in the early 1990s.
The victim, who chose to remain anonymous, shared her traumatic experience, stating that both Hall and Diddy forced themselves upon her. These serious allegations have sparked public outrage and a resurfacing of previous salacious statements and even song lyrics by Hall.
As these recent allegations against Hall unfolded, other incidents from his past began resurfacing on social media. One notable example is a video interview on VLAD TV in 2014, where Hall made disturbing comments about his sex life and revealed that he had a child with model and dancer Gloria Velez when she was underage.
In the interview, Hall nonchalantly refers to Velez being underage as he says, “I didn’t know she was a puppy,” while also sharing that he “likes to f*ck in public,” in the interview. These troubling remarks have only intensified the backlash against Hall.

Users on X reacted to Hall’s resurfaced interview when talking about Velez.
One user named @daltonhiggins5 commented, “Geez, these coons and buffoons, Diddy, Aaron Hall, etc, need to be charged and cancelled… this is truly disgusting.” One other user named @MaadyBK67 commented “Aaron Hall one of them dudes that tell on himself because he wanna brag about everything. Welp.”
Following the resurfacing of the interview, Velez herself spoke out about her previous relationship with Hall. Taking to her Twitter (X) account on Nov. 25, Velez not only commented on the recent allegations but also called out 2 Live Crew rapper Uncle Luke for allegedly grooming her during her high school years.
“If you don’t think Grooming is happening in this business, Your sadly mistaken. It started in 1994 With Luke and a few others in this business. I was in high school.”
Velez emphasized the need to protect young girls from older men taking advantage of them and expressed her support for the women who had come forward with allegations against R. Kelly. Velez continued:
“The only reason why I spoke out about my son’s father was because I had to protect my son from him. It wasn’t about me. Your body. Your beautiful. So our society blames the woman always. Look how your dressed, why did u go with him etc. a young girl native looking up to an older man doesn’t give him the right to take advantage of her. I believe those women who made claims about r. Kelly. I felt there pain. I couldn’t stop the tears coming down my face while I watched. I’m happy women are finally speaking out. It’s time.”
On November 27, actress Amanda Seales called out Hall on her Instagram page and replayed the resurfaced interview, and called him “misogynist and chauvinistic. “ Seales also took the time to call out Hall’s 1991 song, “Don’t Be Afraid.” The song contains the lyrics:
“Now I have you all to myself. You can put all the other guys all on the shelf. No need to run and no need to hide. All the doors are locked baby and I have you inside. You can yell and you can hit me. It just makes me horny. Ain’t nothing but a love thing baby. Between me and you. So just give in baby, don’t worry about a thing.”

“Don’t Be Afraid” resurfaced on Twitter (X) as well, and one user named @napkingcolejr commented “Whatever they said Aaron Hall & Diddy did…THEY DID it. Most self incriminating lyrics of all time From Aaron Hall,” when referring to the lyrics in the song.
Despite the mounting backlash and calls for accountability, Aaron Hall has remained silent and has not publicly addressed the allegations or the resurfaced interview. The resurfacing of Hall’s past comes shortly after Diddy faced sexual assault allegations that went viral.
On November 16, he was accused of rape and abuse by his former girlfriend Cassie. The lawsuit was settled the next day.
Recent controversies surrounding Aaron Hall bring to mind the problematic comments made by Houston rapper Slim Thug. In a November Instagram story, Slim Thug faced backlash for suggesting that sexual assault victims should have a time limit for coming forward.
