*Cue up Nellie’s “Hot in Here.” That’s ’cause the suits over at ABC have been holding “emergency meetings,” according to the NY Post, to deal with the circumstances surrounding “Good Morning America” anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes who’ve allegedly been involved in a secret love affair.
Interestingly, as a source puts it, Robach, who is married to actor Andrew Shue, and Holmes, who is married to lawyer Marilee Fiebig, will more than likely “keep their jobs if their ratings hold up” in the coming weeks.
“It’s ultimately about the ratings,” the source said, adding that based on the attention this story is getting, “ratings are going to go through the roof.”
Another ABC insider close to the situation, however, noted that ABC News president Kim Godwin did not have any knowledge of the affair. A third source said the duo could face disciplinary actions if the co-hosts did not disclose the relationship.

Here’s more via the NY Post:
“This story is good old-fashioned gossip,” the source added. “The biggest takeaway is that they were both stupid.”
Reps for ABC and “GMA” did not respond to requests for comment.
Robach and Holmes anchored “GMA” together on Thursday for the first time since the news broke. The duo did not directly address the alleged affair, but they awkwardly opened the show with Robach welcoming viewers to its “Friday eve” broadcast.
What you might find interesting is that Holmes’ 2020 Instagram post celebrating his 10-year anniversary with Marilee Fiebig recently went viral because in it he teased giving her “reasons” to leave.
Also, as we reported earlier today, both Robach and Holmes have since deactivated their Instagram accounts.
Lastly, Robach’s husband Mark Shue has wiped his social media accounts clean of all images of his now-estranged wife.
