*Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt sees a very bright future for Shedeur Sanders the son of Deion Sanders. During an appearance on FS1’s “The Herd,” Klatt predicted a lucrative future in the NIL for Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders that includes a $10 million payday.

“I think Shedeur might be able to make $10 million…We have no idea what his ceiling is from an NIL perspective,” said Klatt, who argued that Shedeur might be the most valuable college athlete in America.

Considering the buzz surrounding Shedeur, Klatt may have a point. Even with a 3-2 record, the Colorado Buffaloes have the eyes of the sports world on them.

As it stands now, Shedeur Sanders’ NIL valuation from On3.com is $5.1 million, noted OutKick. The only athlete topping Shedeur is LeBron James’ son Bronny James, with $6.1 million. Famed gymnast/influencer Olivia Dunne ranks a distant third at $3.2 million.

Voicing his agreement with Klatt, Colin Cowherd suggested that $10 million would be nothing for a shoe company to throw at Shedeur.

As we said, Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes are now 3 and 2 after suffering two consecutive losses against Oregon and USC respectively.

Yesterday (09-30-23), Colorado fell to No. 8 USC 48-41 before a sellout crowd at Folsom Field that included celebrities from the sports and entertainment world.

Led by Shedeur Sanders in a 4th quarter comeback attempt that fell short, the Buffaloes outscored the Trojans 27-14 in the second half and 14-0 in the fourth quarter. In doing so, they outgained the USC offense 564-498.

The end result was close, but no cigar, as the saying goes. In fact, neither Coach Prime nor Shedeur Sanders believes in moral victories.

“I don’t know what that means,” Shedeur said — but Colorado’s strong second half against reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and the Trojans continued to reset expectations and optimism for a program that went 1-11 in 2022.

“Overall, I’m really proud,” Coach Deion Sanders said. “Not only of the young men, [but]the coaches, the fan base, the student body. I’m truly proud of the way we represented Boulder today.”

OK, so what do YOU say? Do you see a great future with a huge payday, or do you think Shedeur is not ready yet? Sound off below.
