It’s not really summer until the first blockbuster film hits theaters!
And that film is “Transformers: Rise of The Beast.”
You may be like us and wonder, how many Transformer films are they going to make?
After watching the film our thoughts were changed instantly. From the story-lines to the action scenes, this film covers a range of emotions. You will be excited, you’ll laugh, and may even get emotional. In this installment, we meet Noah, a young man living with his mom and little brother in Brooklyn, NY. He finds himself struggling to land a job and provide financial help for his family. He’s presented with an opportunity to make money by stealing a luxury car. He reluctantly agrees and realizes this isn’t your normal vehicle. He has now been introduced to the world of Transformers.

Similar to the bond between Bubble Bee and Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) from the mid-2000s films. Noah, played by Anthony Ramos, and Mirage, voiced by Pete Davidson, not only form a bond but also became fighting partners during their quest in getting the Transformers back to their planet. With similarities to the first films in the franchise, this version also stands on its own! Between the music and the representation of Black and Brown communities in New York, this film is for the culture!
“It feels like we’re starting the franchise over. We haven’t seen characters like me and Dominique Fishback in these kinds of movies,” said Ramos. “It feels amazing to also tell a Brooklyn story. This New York story in this massive movie about robots,” he said about being a part of the new installment.

Ramos’ character was involved in a few fight scenes.
“When I read it in the script I was like there’s no way this is about to happen. It was really fun to start stepping into this new area of my career. I love action movies,” said Ramos.
“Transformers: Rise Of The Beast” will be in theaters June 9 and is a must-see for all ages!
