According to TMZ, Atlantic Records has denied any use of bots to increase video views for their artists, such as Lil Uzi Vert, Roddy Riich, Don Toliver, and A Boogie. The record label told TMZ they would never use such a thing to ruin its reputation.

TMZ has also been in communication with the people who represent the aforementioned Houston artist Don Toliver, who say they are not pleased to hear about the allegations of using bots to fake viewership and are looking more into the matter.

This is not the first time the label has gotten accused of cheating practices. In 2018, Atlantic Records received bad press over reports that claimed the record company had intentionally categorized albums as mixtapes to save serious bucks.
