BAOSA UK is an organization set up to unite former students of Lagos Baptist Academy and to support the school via various “giving back” projects. The main focus is to continuously provide physical, financial, and moral support to the students and the school’s senior leadership team. Baptist Academy is affiliated to the Nigerian Baptist Convention. It is a sister school to Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls’ Secondary School, Yaba Lagos hence the involvement of activities together, home and abroad. The school was established by the American Baptist Missionaries.

Not even the rain on the day could mar the well-attended event. The keynote address was by an old student himself Dr Yemi Onifade in which he said…“To hand unto our children a banner without stain” encapsulates the profound aspiration to ensure that the values, traditions, and principles we hold dear are passed down to future generations in their purest and uncorrupted form. Give Me an Egg and I’ll Give You a Chicken: This carries profound lessons about life, growth, and potential. understanding the transformative power of investment and nurturing, remembering that the true value of a gift lies not in its price tag but in the positive impact it has on our lives and the lives of others.” Special mention to BAOSA UK ladies, Toks Oderinde and Sade Demuren, and others whose role leading up to the Gala night was pivotal in making the night a successful night and outcome. It must be said that other school associations came to support BAOSA UK’s worthy cause. BAOSA UK has as its president and Patron of the school, the indefatigable Dele Dada and Sam Areyenka as Vice President. October 28 2023 was a night to remember for BAOSA UK.
