*The cast of the hit Peacock series “Bel-Air” was on hand to watch the battle of L.A. (04-05-23) at the Crypto.com Arena with the Clippers and Lakers facing off in a game that had NBA playoff implications.

Jabari Banks, Coco Jones, Olly Sholotan, Akira Akbar, Cassandra Freeman, Simone Joy Jones, Jordan L. Jones and Adrian Holmes sat courtside for the game but, at halftime, joined a few media members in a suite to celebrate not only the announcement of “Bel-Air’s” season three renewal but the birthdays of two of its stars, Holmes and Sholotan.

Sholotan shared with EURweb correspondent Jill Munroe how it’s been amazing to see the fans’ reaction as the series continues. He especially likes it when die-hard fans of the original series appreciate his take on “Carlton” and the show’s dedication to exploring Black men and mental health.

Jordan L. Jones said he is up for anything with Jazz in season three. But he would like to see the show explore more of Jazz’s family and his world in the Leimert Park neighborhood of South L.A.

“To see the opposite of the world in Bel-Air would be great. One of the things I would have liked to see in season two was Will navigating South L.A.”

He credits the producers and showrunner of the series with developing Jazz into a complete character.

“In the original series, Jazz was just “Will’s friend,” the actor explained, “so I’m blown away that I am even being asked about what I would like to see for season three.”

Jones also teased his favorite moment of season two, which happens to come in the season finale airing on April 27. “It’s a great moment between Jazz and Hillary (Coco Jones). Again, no spoilers, but you must look out for that.”
