(ThyBlackMan.com) Black Americans do not have a working and genuine press corp of people dedicated, to helping Black Americans navigate a majority white nation. To some extent, this is purposeful, as the white controlling majority benefits from an ill-informed black electorate. In a majority white society where, black own businesses are not prevalent, as it takes advertising dollars and direct contributions, or both to maintain a vibrant, and profitable black press, African Americans rely on free black press outlets, like, ThyBlackman.com.

When it comes to useful factual information to help our community, ThyBlackman.com has no equal. The information that is being presented to you about Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) is true and can be fact checked. Normally the main street media, as Ebony Magazine did in the past, is not interested in writing about black issues, generally. Many main street media newspapers, magazines, and news sites have no desire to write about issues facing Black America, unless those issues in some way impact the majority population.

Cicley Gay, the chair of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF), stated in the May 30th edition of the web magazine, Non-Profit Quarterly, (spring 2024 edition), which covers topics of racial equity, the following:

There is nothing uncomplicated about being a nonprofit leader—let alone a Black woman nonprofit leader, and a Black woman nonprofit leader of the largest Black abolitionist philanthropic organization ever to exist in the United States.”

(BLMGNF has under its control an estimated $30 million – click on the article at the link for more information https://thyblackman.com/2024/04/07/cicley-gay-and-blmgnf-fact-check-joe-bidens-3-8-march-unemployment-rate-as-the-real-rate-hits-7-3-the-african-american-rate-10-0/.

She further states, “To this day, my fellow board members and I are still dealing with personal and professional tolls—from accusations of financial impropriety to attacks on our character, our competency, and our commitment to the cause and work of the global movement for Black lives.”.… It is an honor to wake up every morning and devote my days to the important, values-aligned work that I am called to. It is a privilege to fight for Black communities and families, mothers and children.”

Based on Gay’s comments, you would assume she and her two board members would be eager to engage in any worthy project that would help Black Americans. We thought so, too. An issue I’ve have been pursuing Gay and BLMGNF about and asking their help in resolving it, is the undercounting/underreporting of our nation’s unemployment rates. What issue could be more urgent or pressing for Black American families, than rising black unemployment rates, and a current rate of 10.4% unemployment. Having dug deeply into the story surrounding Black American workers’ unemployment, and unemployment rates in general, it was found our nation’s unemployment rates are being undercounted/underreported, as a policy, by the Biden administration and the Democratic party.

BLMGNF and their board were contacted and informed that this policy deeply disadvantaged the African American community because it underreported their unemployment rates and hid the number of their layoffs. It was explained, the scheme operated successfully as long as the public was kept unaware of it. Once exposed, the public would demand it be ended. Here is my last e-mail, in an attempt to solicit BLMGNF’s help. To this day, BLMGNF has not shown any interest in ending this scheme.

“Attn: Cicley Gay and the Board of Directors of BLMGNF,

Choosing what issues to promote is critical to Black America. The excellence or non-excellence of leadership of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation is reflected in that task. Right now, as we speak through the written word, families across this nation, including African American families are dealing with how to put food on the table, while BLMGNF ignores the Biden-Harris administration underreporting our unemployment rates, as a major civil rights issue. Biden’s unemployment rate for September is 4.1%, The real rate according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics economists is 7.7%. And the black unemployment rate, which averages 2.7% higher than the real rate is 10.4%, placing them in a Great Recession. These are facts, as illustrated in our latest article – click on the link.

VP Kamala Harris Can Say, “I will end the policy of underreporting the unemployment rates of American workers.” Will She?

What could be more critical to Black Lives Matter, then our 10.4% Great Recession unemployment rate. If that is not impressive enough to you and your board; there are millions of economic immigrants crossing our borders seeking Jobs and, are raising rental rates in Black communities nationwide, creating uncertainty and hardship in African Americans’ living spaces, while African Americans face their 3rd Great Recession in 16 years. African Americans lost wealth, in each of the past two Great Recessions and will lose wealth again, unless you, and your board act with deliberate speed.

Clarity is what we want when it comes to our unemployment rates. We have pressed this administration on this issue, without success. They don’t deny they’re underreporting our unemployment rates; they brush us, and voters off without giving us an answer. Deadly economic times for black families are ahead of us, if we don’t press for a decision. One rate means growth, and the other spells a quagmire of economic hardship, as the administration does nothing, saying their false political Job rate of 4.1% is a full employment economy.

You can change that, BLMGNF. Here is “a third proposal” I make to you, as a consultant, when it comes to solving the issue of ending underreporting of our unemployment rates. BLMGNF, in your rebranding plan, you used the services of Nic Abelian, identified as the founder of the company, “Another Zero.” Mr. Abelian was successful in getting your plans featured in a top tier magazine, the New York weekly on September 17,2024. He, according to his e-mail to me, can do the same when it comes to featuring the above article, titled, “VP Kamala Harris Can Say, “I will end the policy of underreporting the unemployment rates of American workers.” Will She?” in the regional newspapers of the battle ground states of Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina.

There you have it, not only do you have a familiar partner to work with; in exposing the scam of underreporting our unemployment rates, you can use this factual article to do so. This article in a “very limited way” has already received some exposure on the Microsoft network (MSN) eliciting some 344 comments. You may want to read those comments as I did. Americans are seeking the TRUTH and a decision from this administration to simply, stop underreporting our unemployment rates, hiding our layoffs as this economy declines. Here is the link to the MSN article, which is still up. MSN tends to take down their articles rather quickly after publication.

So, there is just no excuse for BLMGNF not to help the very constituency for whom funds to BLMGNF were donated. You have the factual article, Mr. Abelian, funds in your coffer (the cost to have this article featured in those regional newspapers will be less than one percent of your cash hoard) and you have the time. The question we poll(pose) to you, and your board is, do Black Lives Matter to youreally? If Harris wins, there is no reason for her to stop underreporting our unemployment rates. That’s why, it is important to have her, and Democrats defend this vile policy, now.”

As stated above – BLMGNF Leadership does not Want to Uplift Black Americans or BLMGNF Would Uplift Black Americans. Cicley Gay, and BLMGNF have not lifted a finger, to help Black America to end the scam of underreporting/undercounting our unemployment rates. What are these people doing with OUR money?!
