Megan Thee Stallion’s former stylist testified today in front of the Judge Herriford at the Los Angeles Superior Court, where SOHH is embedded to provide continuous trial coverage. EJ described the events of that night, citing that the situation had gotten tense at Kylie’s house and he sensed it was time to exit the party.
The stylist described a scene where Kelsey had passed out and Megan was really far gone and making snarky comments to the host, Kylie Jenner. Additionally, Meg’s wig was apparently crooked and the star was not looking her best, according to EJ.
EJ, who was introduced as a defense witness, offered his testimony for the first time in court today, saying “no one had ever asked” him to testify. This revelation was surprising given that EJ was the last person (besides those in the car) to see Megan before she was shot. In fact, EJ says he had followed her, Tory & Kelsey in his own car before turning off to drive home.
Earlier today (12/19), Los Angeles district attorneys called responding officers to review body camera footage the night Megan Thee Stallion was allegedly shot on Sunset Boulevard in July 2020. The dramatic replay reveals officer asking Meg if she was ‘OK’ as she is being escorted to the ambulance.
As day 10 of SOHH’s exclusive continuous coverage unfolds of the trial of Daystarr Peterson, also known as Tory Lanez, Los Angeles district attorneys called on Los Angeles Police Department officers Sandra Cabral and Judy Lee to testify.
Cabral, according to the footage, is the officer who arrested Megan Thee Stallion’s former assistant and best friend, Kelsey Harris.
The body camera footage showed two angles of the arrest — one with Cabral arresting Harris and the other of an injured Megan escorted onto the ambulance.
“Megan are you ok,” a concerned Harris is heard asking on the video.
When the defense cross examined Cabral, Lanez’s attorney George Mgdesyan asked her about the conversation Harris and Lanez had on the sidewalk. Officer Cabral said she couldn’t remember.
The prosecution also called back Officer Lee to compare the dis tracks of Megan and Harris following the shooting to the statements Harris made in September 2022 . The songs are “Shots Fired” by Megan and “Bussin Back” by Harris.
In the songs — Megan calls Harris a “a goofy-ass b&tch.”
“Watchin’ me succeed from your knees, suckin’ dick / I know you want attention from the n*ga that I get / I’m a steak, you a side plate, shrimp, stay in your place,” rapped Megan on the track in 2020.
Harris denies taking hush money and bites back at Megan — “Who I’m taking shots at?/Bitch I’m busting you,” Kelsey raps at the beginning of the track.
“Couldn’t control your little feelings / Look what dick is costing you / It was all good yeah about a week ago / Shout out Bobby Shmurda but this bitch is really tweaking tho / If I was the one with the gun you woulda heard about a murder / Said her back was turned but the girl know who really hurt her.”
While the prosecution only mentioned approximately ten lines of the song, the defense referenced the entire song.
The prosecuting attorneys referenced a witness they can’t seem to locate a witness. Without naming the missing individual, the DAs also said no missing persons report was filed.
The defense revealed they will introduce as a witness on Tuesday (12/20) one of the 9-11 callers who claims he saw a woman holding the gun the night Megan was allegedly shot.
The jurors listened to a 90-minute audio interview recorded by the district attorney with Kelsey Harris, the former best friend of Megan Thee Stallion. The once considered key witness, in the Daystarr Peterson or Tory Lanez, versus California, said — “Tory shot Megan,” in an unedited recorded interview with the prosecution on Sept. 14, 2022.
