(BPRW) BERNARD BRONNER FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST HOLLYWOOD PRODUCER WILL PACKER FOR BREACH OF FINANCIAL AGREEMENT.
Court hearing set for September 16th in Georgia.
(Black PR Wire) Atlanta, GA — Bernard Bronner, entrepreneur and media mogul, has filed a lawsuit against acclaimed Hollywood producer Will Packer, citing breach of a financial agreement. Bronner, who provided the initial loan that helped launch Packer’s career, claims that Packer has failed to repay the loan and is now attempting to circumvent his financial obligations by forming a new production company.
The lawsuit comes as Packer continues to build on his success in the entertainment industry, having produced a number of high-profile films and television projects. These include critically acclaimed works such as Girls Trip, Think Like a Man, and Ride Along. Most recently, Packer produced the upcoming Netflix film Lift, starring Kevin Hart, which is slated for release on September 5th, 2024.
Bronner alleges that Packer’s formation of a new production company was a strategic move designed to avoid repaying the initial loan that played a crucial role in launching Packer’s career. Despite numerous attempts to settle the matter amicably, Bronner has been left with no choice but to pursue legal action.
“The irony of the situation is that while Packer continues to ‘lift’ his own career, he has left behind the very foundation that allowed him to succeed,” said a representative for Bronner.
The court hearing is scheduled for September 16th, 2024, in Georgia, just days after the release of Lift on Netflix.
