(BPRW) FPL Awarded $160,000 to Eight Local College-Bound Students
As part of FPL’s commitment to STEM education, eight South Florida students have each received $20,000 toward their university studies
(Black PR Wire) Riviera Beach, FL – Eight recipients of the NextEra Energy Scholarship for Black Students in the Southeastern Consortium for Minorities in Engineering (SECME) proudly hold up their $20,000 college scholarship check from Florida Power & Light Company inside of FPL’s Manatee Lagoon in Riviera Beach on July 8, 2023. The scholarship program recognizes students who were part of the SECME club in high school.
The scholarship winners are:
