(Black PR Wire) October 21-25, 2024, marks National Health Education Week (NHEW). Jessie Trice Community Health System (JTCHS) joins the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) and other organizations nationwide to raise awareness about the vital role of health education.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health education is a tool for improving a population’s general health and wellness by promoting knowledge and healthy practices. Health education empowers individuals to make informed decisions that enhance their quality of life.
