(BPRW) Jessie Trice Community Health System to Host Farm Share/Health Fair on April 29th

(Black PR Wire) MIAMI, FL – Miami Garden’s community will have the chance to access fresh produce and a wide range of health resources at the Jessie Trice Community Health System’s upcoming Farm Share and Health Fair event on April 29th, held at the JTCHS Barbara J. Jordan Health & Wellness Center located at 20612 NW 27th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33056.

The farm share distribution will take place from 10 am-1 pm, followed by the health fair from 1 pm-4 pm. This event promises to be an educational and enjoyable experience for all attendees. “We are thrilled to host this event, and we encourage everyone to attend and take advantage of the resources and fresh produce that will be available,” said Annie Neasman, President and CEO of the Jessie Trice Community Health Center.

Attendees can expect an educational and enjoyable experience, featuring informative presentations from Gilead on HIV and Carl Brittney, Jnr from Feeding South Florida, discussing nutrition and doing a food demo. Additionally, the FMU Band, organized by Mr. Roberts, will perform at the event. Vendors at the Health Fair include Gilead, JTCHS Breast Feeding Touch point program, Pisgah, Feeding South Florida, Government Phone vendor, Recover. Restart. Refreshed, Inc.,  JTCHS Oral Health, JTCHS Behavioral Health and JTCHS Early Intervention (HIV Services).
