*With the 2022/23 NBA season now consisting of the Finals with the Denver Nuggets up 3 games to 1 over the Miami Heat (as of this posting on 06-09-23), fans might wanna start looking ahead to next season because, as usual, most teams will have to reset their rosters. We’ll tell you what Giannis Antetokounmpo has to do with it as you read on.

Anyway, it just so happens that one of those teams, the Milwaukee Bucks, is looking to do just that. One of the changes will be a new head coach and even though NBA analyst Mark Jackson was being considered, the team decided on Adrian Griffin.

Interestingly, there are those who want the Bucks’ superstar player Giannis Antetokounmpo to look elsewhere to put his talents on display.

So, when he was on IG Live recently, Antetokounmpo, also affectionately known as The Greek Freak, reacted to being asked by a fan to join the Golden State Warriors. Well, guess what, apparently the the thought was very appealing ’cause Giannis couldn’t stop cheesing at the idea. 🙂

One can’t help but wonder if there just MIGHT be something going down. Whatchoothink?  Anyway, watch it happen below

In other NBA news, back in May, after the Warriors lost to the Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters the group was “not a championship team.” Kerr came straight out and said that Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole hurt the chemistry between the players at the start of the season.

“There’s no hiding from it — the incident with Draymond [Green] and Jordan [Poole] at the beginning of the year played a role in that. It’s hard for that not to impact a team,” admitted Kerr.

Following up, Stephen A. Smith got with Green who admitted the punch affected his relationship with his teammates.

“We’re not playing right now because when you speak about the fouling, when you think about all of the slippage that we had as a team on the road, not being able to come together.”

Green added: “None of those things happen if that doesn’t happen, because the voice that I am and the departments that I lead this team in, there was a ton of slippage due to me sitting back, me not saying anything, me trying to allow that situation to play itself out and give it time to heal.”

Green addressed how the team came back together, but he admits that they still weren’t playing at a championship level.

“If that slippage has been going on that long, you are who you are at that point. You’ve built those habits. You’ve built bad habits. That is who you are now. So to try to correct them then. It’s like, ‘OK, you may get a little better.’ We did. We ended up in the second round of the playoffs but not at a championship level.”
