If you’ve been watching Love & Marriage: Detroit, you know it’s been an explosive premiere season. Secrets, past deeds and life-changing decisions have tested the couples, exposing the weaker points in their relationships through issues surrounding faith, resentment and broken lines of communication.
Last week, we got the first shots with Love & Marriage: Detroit Reunion Special Part 1. After an emotional start, the couples are sitting down again with series creator Carlos King to find out if friendships can be mended, including Brandon and Anthony’s 20-year connection.
The series chronicles the lives of three couples. Russell and Kolby Harris have been married for three years. Russell runs a non-profit called Soar Detroit, which focuses on literacy and sports, and Kolby is a rising social media influencer.
Brandon and Kristina Bowman-Smith have been married for 11 years. Kristina is a well-known fashion designer, stylist and influencer in Detroit, and Brandon owns Star Factory, an artist development program.
Anthony and Dr. LaToya Thompson have been married for 14 years. LaToya is a successful sports physical therapist and the owner of Opulence Wine. Anthony works for the touring company Live Nation and owns a production studio.
