Charting her own path, scuba diver and social media star Gabby Shepard is carrying on EBONY’s mission of opening new horizons for the community. The young diving instructor uses her platform, Black Girl Blue World, to empower others in the Black community to conquer their fears and discover the planet’s beautiful oceans. The diving pro, who is also a photographer, uses her skills in amazing places like the tropical oceans in the Caribbean. The EBONY Power 100 awardee is making a splash as she helps inspire the next generation of Black divers and ocean explorers.
