Gervonta Davis wins over Rolando Romero – Amanda Westcott/SHOWTIME
*Troubled boxing star Gervonta Davis is facing a lawsuit for allegedly sucker-punching a parking lot attendant at a Manhattan garage while waiting for his car on March 8, 2022.
Attendant Arturo Jimenez was working at the Edison Park Fast Garage on West 44th Street when Davis, 28, came in to get his Cadillac Escalade, the New York Post reports.
Davis was staying at the Hotel Continental in Times Square, across the street from the parking garage, when he arrived and asked another employee for his car.
Jimenez was getting another car out when Davis approached him. According to the legal filing, Jimenez was unaware that Davis had already asked for his vehicle from a co-worker, prompting the fighter to allegedly say “stop f–king playing with me” before assaulting Jimenez with a blow to his chest.
Davis was pulled into the office by another worker while Davis continued “yelling and cursing … demanding that he be given his car keys, though he refused to pay his parking fee,” according to the suit.

When Davis allegedly paid and drove off, he showed “utter indifference to the safety and well-being of others,” the court papers allege. Jimenez reported the incident to the police the following day.
According to the legal filing, he suffered “multiple bodily injuries” from the assault.
Jimenez is suing for unspecified damages.
Davis has a history of violence and most recently pleaded guilty to a hit-and-run in Maryland that left four people injured. He will be sentenced on May 5 and is facing seven years in jail.
In December he was arrested on domestic violence charges. Three years ago, he was charged with the battery of his ex-girlfriend, the New York Post reports.
