On Sunday, August 20, Black-owned haircare brand Curls hosted its third Curls on the Runway Charity Fashion Show in Atlanta, GA.
The evening began with a mixer for attendees to check out various booths that featured everything from clothing, shoes, and beauty products for sale. Shortly after, everyone transitioned into the main event, the runway show. Before the models hit the stage, guests got crunk in their seats while rapper Yung Joc performed some of his greatest hits.
Television star Yandy Smith hosted the evening and kept the audience in tears the whole night. Designers presented collections worn by models whose hairstyles defied gravity. We first saw colorful clothing from twin designers BruceGlen followed by looks from Abeille Creations, ending with knit looks from Felicia Dietrich Design House. The Voss Experience Salon created the iconic hairstyles each model rocked. The faces were beat by Taye Hyder and Koloured By Kayy of Top Tier Beauty.
