Jackie Aina, renowned beauty influencer and co-founder of FORVR Mood, has announced a new partnership with Canadian whiskey company Crown Royal.

In addition to the release of a limited-edition candle, the partnership will see $50,000 donated to Black Girl Ventures Foundation, supporting underrepresented women founders.

Supporting Black Girl Ventures

Founded by serial entrepreneur Shelly Bell in 2016, Black Girl Ventures (BGV) aims to empower underrepresented and underfunded small businesses by providing access to capital, community, and capacity-building resources.

Aina’s partnership with Crown Royal is rooted in support of the nonprofit, with $50,000 donated to the foundation through Crown Royal’s Generosity Fund.

The $50,000 donation will enhance BGV’s programming, such as the Emerging Leaders Fellowship, BGV NextGen, and the BGV Pitch program for underrepresented founders.

An Exciting Partnership for FORVR Mood

“Finding new ways to flex my creativity to craft something that I know my supporters will love, is exciting for me,” Aina said in a press release.

“So, when I was approached by Crown Royal for this partnership it was a no-brainer for me, especially after seeing all the hype for their new Blackberry Flavored Whiskey and learning they’re supporting a cause close to my heart with Black Girl Ventures. I’m excited to partner with a brand that shares my values!”

The partnership’s limited-edition candle, “Berry On Top”, is inspired by Crown Royal Blackberry Flavored Whisky, one of the brand’s most popular offerings.

This new scent will be unveiled at the Crown Royal Blackberry Stand, an adult twist on the traditional lemonade stand, where attendees can also learn about BGV.
