The devastation of Hurricane Helene is simply epic, especially in western North Carolina, where communities have been wiped out and others are isolated. But the response from the Biden-Harris administration has been even more astonishing. Just when you think it could not get any worse, post the Maui fires, this cast of incompetents hit an all-new low. As the Bible verse from Matthew explains, where you place your treasure is where you place your heart. And when you consider the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, publicly stating that our Nation does not have the funding for disaster relief…well, that is just FUBAR!
There is an appropriate question to ask, “Are Americans first for the progressive socialist left, aka, the Democrat party?”
It appears that when reviewing the budgetary expenditures of the DHS under Mayorkas, they have shifted $364M in FY 2023 and $650M in FY 2024 from disaster relief FOR AMERICANS, to supporting illegal immigrants. You know, the folks that do not belong in our Country. We have seen illegal immigrants receive electronic benefits cards, free housing in top-rated hotels, free food, free healthcare, and other taxpayer-funded benefits. Consider the abject condescending offer from Kamala Harris that the federal government is going to give $750 to victims of Hurricane Helene. Yes, $750 to people who have lost everything and with inflation, they would struggle to purchase enough groceries. If I am correct, the same absurd offer was made to the survivors of the Maui wildfires.
Recently, we learned that the Biden-Harris administration has admitted some 425K illegal immigrants with criminal records into our Republic. So, not only is this administration in violation of our Constitution by undermining our sovereignty, but they are also undermining our safety and security. Within that number of criminals, there are 25K murderers and rapists. Funny statistics that I read: Israel has killed more individuals on the terrorist watch list in the past year than we have done in two decades. The Biden-Harris administration allows Islamic jihadists and other terrorists, to freely transit into America.
I do not think that is putting Americans first.
Two weeks ago, the Biden-Harris administration flew Ukrainian president Zelensky to Pennsylvania on a U.S. Air Force C-17 aircraft. Who approved that, and how much did that cost American taxpayers? Zelensky was rewarded for attending a Democrat political event in the Keystone State with a check of $8B. Hmm, and FEMA does not have enough funds for disaster relief for Americans?
This additional $8B is just a little icing on the top of tens of billions, actually close to $100B, sent to Ukraine…but FEMA does not have enough funds for disaster relief for Americans.
We have the most powerful and capable military in the world. I remember when Hurricane Andrew devastated South Florida, namely Miami and Homestead, we deployed the 82d Airborne Division. Why has the Biden-Harris administration not deployed our very own military capability and capacity to provide hot meals, food, water purification, power generation, signal communications node, helicopter search and rescue, amphibious vehicles, Riverine boats, and various other platforms to support Americans, isolated, stranded, and without food, water, and electricity? We even have reports that federal government agencies are refusing to allow private sector groups to aid in supporting the people in these devastated regions and areas. The Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, is not allowing private sector drones to fly in the area. Heck, he should be welcoming these assets and just coordinating airspace and sector/zone searches.
I would hate to think the worst of our leftist comrades, but what is the motivation for this lack of immediate response? Where is the leadership? We have seen this play out previously, as stated in Maui, but also in East Palestine, Ohio.
Perception lends itself to reality, and the perception in this instance is that leftists, aka the Democrat party, could care less about these people…albeit that Asheville is quite a leftist city. Regardless, it evidences a true incompetence that is unconscionable. Perhaps the people in these affected areas could submit a request to Ukraine for financial support, after all, the money did belong to the American people.
When illegals are living better than our fellow Americans, one has to ask, where is the heart of the leftists in America? The recent Vice Presidential debate hardly mentioned the response to Hurricane Helene, which should have been debated and discussed. The debate moderators only referred to Hurricane Helene as a means to promote their delusional and insidious climate change agenda. The Biden-Harris administration has clearly elevated Ukraine and illegal immigrants over Americans. That is where our treasure has been deposited because that is where the leftist heart is.
