*Jonathan Majors continues to be caught up in legal drama. The latest setback for the actor involves two ex-girlfriends accusing him of physical and emotional abuse.

Citing a report from Rolling Stone, LoveBScott detailed the accusations made by Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper. The women, who were in overlapping relationships with Majors, revealed their respective situations to The New York Times, alleging he was physically and emotionally abusive towards them during their respective times with him.

Hooper — who dated Majors from 2013 to 2015 – claimed the “Creed III” actor was deeply controlling, stating she “was not allowed to speak to anyone about their relationship.”

Majors’ attorney Priya Chaudhry countered Hooper’s claims, saying her client was “young and insecure” during that time period and “is embarrassed by some of his jealous behavior.”

Duncan referenced multiple occasions when she claimed Majors was physically violent with her. During one occasion, an alleged fight in July 2016, Majors allegedly choked Duncan, “threw her body across the room” and threatened he was “going to make sure you can’t have children.” In response, Majors denied Duncan’s accusations.

Hooper claims further state she became pregnant a few months into their relationship with Majors. She ultimately made an abortion appointment for two weeks later. Majors allegedly wanted scheduled sooner, LoveBScott mentioned.

Despite knowing Hooper needed an escort home, Hooper claimed she ended up walking home after Majors attended a rehearsal instead of picking her up.

Hooper referenced an incident in 2016, where she claimed Majors became angry with her for dating someone he knew. “I’m going to rip you out of my heart the way they ripped our baby out of you,” he allegedly told Hooper.

An attorney for Majors reacted to Hooper’s claim, stating it was “a mutually intense conversation” and the “Ant Man and the Wasp” star “regrets saying hurtful things in that moment but does not recall the specific things he said.”

In her history with Majors, Duncan said she began her relationship with him after meeting at a summer acting program in Chautauqua, New York. The pair were later engaged from 2015 to 2019. Duncan admitted her relationship with Majors started on an affectionate note, with grand romantic gestures. However, things took a negative turn by July 2016. Duncan claims that was when Majors threatened to strangle and kill her during an argument.

LoveBScott noted the denial from Major’s attorney who claims his client never threatened Dunca. It added that Duncan and Hooper’s accounts of their experience with Majors were first known via Rolling Stone’s investigation of the situation in June. During that time, more than a dozen sources — who are friends with the women or were present during their relationship — independently corroborated details of the alleged abuse.

Though things were brought to light in Rolling Stone’s original article, Duncan and Hooper declined to comment. A spokesperson for one of the women cited fear of retribution as her reason for staying silent.

“It was pervasively known that he was [a good actor], and that he also would terrorize the people that he had dated,” one of the dozen sources told Rolling Stone.

Molineux evidence — previous history of alleged bad acts related to the case — obtained by the New York Times included women’s testimonies to prosecutors.

Countering the publication, Chaudhry recently filed a motion to keep the documents permanently under seal. According to her, the “unproven allegations” from the women would cause “significant concrete harm” because “the media has already demonstrated that it has a near-insatiable appetite for salacious gossip concerning Mr. Majors.”

Hooper and Duncan aren’t the only ones with claims against Majors. A third woman who was also considered speaking with the DA, brought her situation with the entertainer to Rolling Stone as part of its June investigation. However, she pulled out before publication.

In a recent interview with The Cut — who gave her the pseudonym “Anna” — the woman revealed she was also in an abusive relationship with Majors. As for why she backed out of Rolling Stone ‘s June story, Anna claims she received a threatening letter via email that was allegedly sent by a legal assistant, who claimed she was being investigated by a law firm and was part of an “ongoing criminal investigation.”

A phone number the woman found in the email resulted in her tracing it back through a Google Search to the law firm of Chaudhry, Majors’ lawyer.

“It felt like a threat,” Anna told The Cut. “I pulled back 100 percent from participating in supporting Grace, speaking to the DA, communicating with journalists, all of it.” (Chaudhry denied to The Cut that her firm was behind the mysterious email and said she would file a criminal complaint against the sender.).

Hooper and Duncan’s allegations mark the latest legal setback for Majors. In December, he was convicted for reckless assault in the third-degree and a harassment violation. The conviction stems from Major’s arrest in March 2023 arrest for he allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, after she saw him receive a romantic text from another woman. Majors was later acquitted of the two more serious charges, intentional assault and aggravated harassment.

Although it was set for Tuesday (Feb. 13), the 34-year-old actor’s sentencing is scheduled for April 8, due to his attorney filing last-minute motions to overturn the verdict. Despite him facing up to a year in jail, it is unlikely he will serve any time behind bars.
