*Russell Simmons has been ordered to pay the legal fees of his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons as part of their court battle over stock related to an energy drink.
During a recent hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court, a judge granted a motion brought by Lee seeking payment for attorney fees related to Simmons’ lawsuit against her and her estranged husband, Timothy Leissner. RadarOnline reports, citing court documents, that Simmons has 30 days to pay $100,773.37 in Kimora’s legal fees.
The filing reads, “The Court awards to Lee attorney’s fees and costs in the total amount of $100,773.37.” Simmons was ordered to pay the entire amount within 30 days of the court’s order.
The judgment results from Kimora filing a countersuit against Simmons in July after he accused the mother of his two children of stealing stocks that he owned.

Kimora was seeking $119K as she wanted Simmons to pay $83k in legal fees and another $35k for the time spent preparing her motion.
We reported previously that Simmons filed a lawsuit against Kimora and her hubby in 2021, alleging that they used some of Russell’s shares of his Celsius Energy Drink company to pay for Leissner’s attorney fees in his fraud case. Get caught up on the details about that here.
In Simmons’ lawsuit, per The Blast, he claims Kimora and Leissner invested tens of millions of dollars in the Celsius energy drink company. He believes Kimora and Tim “conspired with each other, aided and abetted each other and together engaged in fraud by causing an unlawful conversion and fraudulent transfer” of the Celsius shares without Russell’s consent or knowledge.
Kimora and Leissner allegedly transferred Russell’s shares to themselves. According to the court docs, accountants for the hip-hop mogul discovered a “substantial unexplained change” in his interests in Celsius.
Kimora’s legal team told PEOPLE in a statement that the lawsuit “is an ill-advised attempt by Russell to use the legal system to access funds he is in no way entitled to, and which his own legal team confirms Russell did not pay for.”
