Megan Thee Stallion’s assault trial against Tory Lanez has fans buzzing on social media. In the latest update on the ongoing case, it appears jury selection has officially been completed.

SOHH.com has learned that jury selection for Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting case against Tory Lanez has been completed.

Yesterday, the Canadian artist proclaimed his innocence. He took to his Twitter account and posted a powerful message stating weapons formed against him “shall not prosper.”  Tory also warned fans that it would be his last tweet.

The “Say It” rapper was also recently slammed with a third felony charge. Since the trial commenced this past Monday (Dec. 5), where Tory was released from house arrest, fans have taken to their Twitter accounts to speak their piece on the ongoing case. 

One fan tweeted,  “It amazes me how anyone believes anything Tory Lanez says. That man said with his whole chest he wasn’t in the same building with August Alsina so he couldn’t have attacked him. There was a whole video that proved otherwise and he said NOTHING about lying.”

As Megan Thee Stallion’s assault trial against Tory Lanez progresses, the plot continues to thicken. In the latest news, officer Ryan Stogner, who investigated the Canadian rapper’s case, has been terminated from LAPD for domestic violence, causing prosecutors to refuse him as a witness.
