JustWhiti has had one busy summer.
The comedian, influencer, and producer was invited to make content with the WNBA‘s Connecticut Sun, she’s made more viral social media skits and has been creating films through her production company. At the Atlanta premiere of The Forge, JustWhiti spoke to rolling out about the eventful year that has been 2024.
What has this summer been like for you?
It’s been so awesome.
The Lord has been opening up so many doors, including me being here. I got to actually host the private screening yesterday, and the question and answer with the whole cast. So it’s just been an amazing year. So many open doors.
What is one thing people can get from this film?
I don’t even know where to start with this film.
I feel like it’s more than a movie; it’s a movement and it hits so many life lessons. The Kendrick Brothers really flushed the human experience in this movie, and you’re going to walk away with a lot. So it’s really hard to just choose one thing. It really is.
Your career has taken that next leap of getting more engagement and opportunities. What do you think propelled that?
I’m so grateful. I think the biggest thing is your “yes.” [Give] God your “yes,” and He’ll give you everything else.
Sometimes, obedience and fear coincide, so I’ve chosen to be obedient and have fun in the process, and I’m grateful He just blessed some stuff.
What else are you working on?
I am the co-owner of The Dating Project, and we’re going to start doing speed dating events soon. I’m finishing up a movie that I co-wrote called She’s Such a Lady in Nashville, Tennessee, and I’m creating content.
