Kelly Rowland recently expressed frustration with being asked about Beyoncé’s new music while trying to promote her own Netflix project.

In an interview about her film “Mea Culpa,” Rowland was asked about rumors of a Destiny’s Child reunion and Beyoncé possibly making country or rock music next.

“Your sis just dropped a whole new couple of songs, and it’s my understanding that Renaissance II may or may not be country-based, and then there’s a rumor going around that Renaissance III may be, either rock-based or a DC reunion,” host Big Tigger asked, Deadline reports.

Rowland replied “That is her business to talk about, not mine.”

When the interviewer said fans still have to ask Destiny’s Child questions anytime they see her, Rowland responded: “I know, but just ask them. I’m here talking about Mea Culpa out Feb. 23, and that’s what I’m most excited about right now.”

Rowland made it clear she is tired of Beyoncé questions overshadowing promotion for her own work. She steered the conversation back to her upcoming Netflix movie, declining to fuel speculation about Destiny’s Child or Beyoncé’s unannounced music plans.

“I know, but just ask them,” Rowland replied. “I’m here talking about Mea Culpa, out Feb. 23, and that’s what I’m most excited about right now. I think that, that’s that.”
