Krayzie Bone is presently in the hospital, facing a critical health situation. The rapper has been diagnosed with sarcoidosis, which causes inflammatory cells to form in different parts of the body. Krayzie Bone is also on a ventilator following surgery to address a respiratory issue, resulting in him coughing up blood and requiring immediate medical attention.
This disease also disproportionately affects African Americans and commonly affects the lungs, lymph nodes, eyes, and skin.
The news of Krayzie Bone’s hospitalization has sparked a wave of support on social media.

Fellow Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Bizzy Bone took to Instagram to ask for prayers. Krayzie Bone’s family has requested privacy during this time, as he remains sedated in an ICU in Los Angeles.
Sarcoidosis is not exclusive to Krayzie Bone; other celebrities have also faced this condition.
Actress Tisha Campbell, known for her roles in TV shows like Martin and My Wife & Kids, has lived with sarcoidosis for over three decades. Floyd Mayweather Sr., the father of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., also suffered lung sarcoidosis.
Sadly, the late comedian/actor Bernie Mac dealt with the disease for over 25 years before passing away due to complications of pneumonia in 2008. NFL legend Reggie White also lived with lung and cardiac sarcoidosis for many years before he died in 2004.
Outside of his career with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Krayzie Bone has pursued various ventures. He has his own rap label, clothing line, and podcast network.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony also recently received recognition in their hometown of Cleveland. An intersection was named “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Way” in honor of the group’s contributions to the music industry.
While Krayzie Bone battles his health condition, Lil Durk is another rapper who recently faced health issues. In July, the Chicago rapper had to cancel his tour and pull out his Rolling Loud Miami performance due to severe dehydration and exhaustion.
