Pride month brings out the best from across our global community. Continuing in the legacy paved by the New York’s Stonewall Rebellion in 1970, Los Angeles hosted their highly anticipated pride celebration over the past weekend.
One of the largest pride celebrations in the country, LA Pride not only honors diversity but has fostered an inclusive environment for those in the LGBTQ+ community and their allies to commune safely with each other. With over 50 years in existence, LA Pride continues to be a pivotal event for individuals to pay homage to those who came before, lives lost, the struggles that still must be faced and, above all, the joy and unity of the LGBTQ+ community.
