LeBron was playing against the Spurs. It was the first time he played in a Game 7 in his NBA Finals career.
“[It is] the most valuable LeBron James jersey to ever be offered at auction and among the most valuable jerseys of all time,” according to Sotheby’s officials. In the 2013 NBA Finals, LBJ and the Miami Heat beat San Antonio 98-88, making it LeBron’s second Finals MVP win. He scored 37 points against the San Antonio Spurs while wearing the jersey.
“This game ranks as one of the most important performances of LeBron’s career, during what has been widely debated as his greatest NBA season,” Sotheby’s officials added.
