Ludacris took to his social media accounts on Jan. 4 to showcase his freestyling skills and shut down the claims made by Katt Williams.
The rapper/actor wasted no time in addressing Williams’ recent Jan. 3 Club Shay Shay podcast interview, where Williams claimed that Ludacris had made a deal with the Illuminati. According to Williams, the alleged deal involved Ludacris starring in 20 movies for a whopping $200 million.
“So there was a crossroads where we were both invited to an Illuminati thing, and it had to be one or the other of us and decisions had to be made,” Williams said. “So it was both of us, we were equal. One of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn’t do the sideburn thing no more, with the points.”
He continued:
“And the next person they said was going to get $200 million because they were going to pay him $10 million a movie to do 20 movies. And that’s how the conversation happened. One of those persons turned out to be Ludacris, and the other person turned out to be Katt Williams.” Ludacris is a member of the Fast & Furious series, which has 10 movies.
Katt Williams also took a shot at Luda for saying he “ended up with a light-skinned ugly-face wife.” Ludacris responded with a not-so-subliminal freestyle over Kanye West’s “Devil in a New Dress” beat.
In his response, Ludacris made it clear that he has never been associated with the Illuminati, stating, “Never been Illuminati, only Ill-Luda-nati.” He also emphasized his commitment to his family, rapping:
“Now I’m married with kids, the evolution of life.” Ludacris effortlessly shut down any notion of him being a clout-chaser, asserting, “Never been a clout-chaser, never say sh*t for likes.”
But Ludacris didn’t stop there. He also took a dig at Williams over his alleged drug use. Referencing the late director John Singleton, Ludacris rapped:
“R.I.P. John Singleton, you never have to flex when you earned every one of your ‘Fast & Furious’ checks. Addiction’s on the rise, comedians check your temperature.” It was a direct hit aimed at Williams’ personal struggles.
Users on Twitter (X) reacted to Ludacris’ freestyle. One user named @MrJeromeTrammel commented, “ Luda you ate this rap up, but we STILL believe Katt Williams,” and one other user named @JoshyBeSloshy used a GIF that said “Nah that ain’t it y’all.”
Katt Williams has not publicly responded directly to Ludacris’s freestyle at this time.

Kevin Hart has offered a response to fellow comedian Katt Williams, who called him out in a recent interview with Cub Shay Shay.
In response to Williams’ remarks, Hart took to his Twitter (X) account on Jan. 4 to address the situation. Alongside the announcement of his upcoming Netflix movie, LIFT, Hart wrote:
“Gotta get that anger up outcha champ… It’s honestly sad.” In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film “LIFT” which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!!,’” Hart wrote.

Not one to miss an opportunity for some playful banter, the Me Time star took a direct swipe at Katt Williams in the trailer. Referring to a scene where actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw says:
“They Really Love You,” Hart humorously stated, “@gugumbatharaw [Gugu Mbatha-Raw] says ‘They Really Love You’… I now know she’s talking about ‘Katt.’ Mark yo calendars world!!!! This one is SPECIAL!!!!”
Following Hart’s response, fans flooded the comment section with their opinions on the ongoing feud and the trailer.
One user named @PRBUchiha couldn’t help but take a shot at Hart, commenting, “Katt Williams put you in a blender.” Another user named @queennaturally expressed disappointment in Hart’s recent work, stating, “Kevin, you’re not even funny anymore. Especially because you’re so eager to appeal to a YT[white]audience now. The movie is probably as corny as your comedy is nowadays.”
The animosity between Hart and Williams stems from an interview Williams gave on the Club Shay Shay podcast, released on January 3.
Williams referred to Hart as an “industry plant,” asserting that he had not put in the same years of work performing at comedy clubs as himself and other comedians. Williams also called out comedians Cedric The Entertainer, Steve Harvey, Rickey Smiley, and others in the interview.

Katt Williams has unleashed a blistering attack on his fellow comedic legends. During a recent interview, the legendary comedian called out Cedric The Entertainer, Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, and Rickey Smiley.
In an interview on the Club Shay Shay podcast released on Jan. 3, Williams vented about Cedric The Entertainer stealing one of his jokes from the past.
According to Williams, Cedric believed he could get away with it since Williams was a relatively unknown comedian at the time.
“He thought that I was just a no-name comedian and that he could take this joke and nobody would know. The issue was that I had already done this particular joke on BET’s ComicView twice. It had done so well… that they made it part of the commercial,” Williams said.
Williams added:
“This is not just a random joke, this is my best joke…it’s my closing joke. 1998, I’m doing this joke…Cedric comes to The Comedy Store, he watches me in the audience, he comes backstage, he tells me what a great job I did and how much he loves the joke. Two years later, he’s doing that as his last joke on The [Original] Kings Of Comedy and he’s doing it verbatim, he just changed my car into a spaceship.”
WIlliams was referencing the comedy special movie, The Original Kings of Comedy. Williams also took a shot at Cedric by saying he looks like a walrus.
Cedric The Entertainer later responded to Williams on Instagram:
“Revisionist history, regardless of whatever Katts opinion My career can’t be reduced to One Joke Katt Williams claims as his, I been [in]over 40 movies, my specials and brand speaks volumes for [who]i am. The ppl I have put on including ‘Kat in the Hat’ At the Gibson Amphitheatre. And all that tough talk Is corny af Im [a]grown ass man. And none of that sh*t gonna go like you think. You do you and I got this over here.”
Katt Williams additionally called out Steve Harvey, Cedric’s co-star in The Original Kings of Comedy, accusing him of being involved in the joke Cedric allegedly stole. Williams claimed that the shared joke, originally crafted with comedian Mark Curry, was also appropriated by Harvey:
“This is the same Steve that went to go watch Mark Curry do his whole sitcom and then stole everything Mark Curry had. Now Steve got a sitcom where he’s the principal and he wear a suit.” The sitcom in question was The Steve Harvey Show and Curry’s Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.
Users on Twitter (X) reacted to Williams’ explosive interview. One user named @Teewhyfene commented “Katt Williams a legend and I’m happy he gets to get his truth heard,” and one other user named @Thats_wildddd commented, “He damn sure aint lyin Cedric never ever been funny to me and really just rode off the coat tails of all the other comedians in that “kings of comedy.”
Additionally, Williams targeted Rickey Smiley, debunking Smiley’s claims that he was originally cast as Money Mike in the movie Friday After Next. Williams accused Smiley of lying and mockingly criticized his acting skills. Williams questioned why Smiley had not been offered significant movie roles in recent years, stating:
“Rickey Smiley can’t act because Rickey Smiley can’t act.”
Unsurprisingly, Kevin Hart also found himself in Williams’ line of fire. Williams referred to Hart as an “industry plant,” insinuating that Hart’s rise to fame lacked the long underground career typically associated with successful comedians.
“In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of going to a sold-out Kevin Hart show and being in line for him getting a standing ovation at any comedy club. What do you think a plant is?”
Williams said as he raised his voice. Williams also said that he is tired of the narrative of him being “bitter and jealous” during his comedy hiatus.
The full interview is now available on YouTube.
In other news about Cedric The Entertainer, he recently teamed up with Houston rapper Trae The Truth by delivering blankets, jackets, and coats to the homeless shortly before New Year’s Day. Local media was there to capture the kind gesture from Trae and Cedric.
One other celebrity that called fellow celebrities out was rap star Kanye West. In a leaked video from 2018, Kanye called out rapper Cardi B and said that she was an industry plant. He was also frustrated with producing songs for Pusha T, Nas, and Teyana Taylor as well as others and not being appreciated.
