*A Florida man had a very busy Sunday last week and it had little to do with doing good, such as helping the needy after worship. Okay, he might have done some good deeds, but what has made headlines are the outrageous ones.

The 36-year-old man, who has been identified as Chad Mason, was arrested that Sunday and charged with several misdeeds, from having sex with an animal (a Goldendoodle dog), exposing his sexual organs and damaging church’s nativity scene to trying to steal a car.

Mason was taking the dog in question for a walk at around 4:30 PM on Sunday through an apartment complex in the 2600 block of McMullen Booth Road. Mason knew the dog’s owner. He stopped walking the dog and instead began having sex with it right in front of several adults. There was also a child below 16 watching the incident. Lord have mercy!

One of the adults confronted Mason, who then took off to Northwood Presbyterian Church. This brings us to his other crime: upon entering the church, Mason began knocking over a nativity display, breaking several potted plants, and throwing kids’ toys from the playground area. When the church officials counted the losses after the intrusion, they realized he damaged properties worth over $400.

On leaving the church, the trespasser entered an adjacent neighborhood, continuing to leave damages in his wake, like Godzilla. There, he destroyed a mailbox and tried to steal a car. At that point, the cops managed to arrest him and book him into the Pinellas County Jail.

The question you are probably asking yourself is, could it be that he lost his head? No sane person would act this way. We suggest he better be presented to a psychiatrist before further action is taken.

He is currently out on bond and will appear in court late this month.
