“You know that feeling when there are so many emotions at once and there’s too much to feel,” Cummings told the news outlet. “That was the sum of it, it was an emotional rollercoaster, so many things happening at once.
Cummings said she hoped the Cowboys would make a comeback, “then things went back downhill, I was emotionally drained.”
Her photo has been made into a meme and has been circulating all over the interent. The meme has even made it on ESPN’s First Take and other sports shows.
“Someone called me the face of the Cowboys. I even DM’d Zeke,” she said. “He didn’t see it, but I thought I would try.”
Cummings who’s also a veteran has been aa Cowboys fan her entire life. Cummings lives in Georgia, and the game was her first-ever game at AT&T Stadium.
She said football is what helped her feel like she was back in the states while she was away serving overseas, she spent less than a year living in the U.S.
The veteran isn’t a huge social media user, and was shocked when she found out her photo went viral and “wished the cameras would have captured a better picture.”
