Houston native Megan Thee Stallion’s new Fashion Nova collection has surpassed the sales of Cari B’s Spring 2019 clothing line.
TMZ is reporting that Megan’s brand brought in $1.2 million in one day with her Western-inspired “Hot Girl” gear.
The collection contains 106 pieces, including dresses, pants, corset tops and Denim jeans. The 5’10” Megan (born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) told Teen Vogue that she teamed with Fashion Nova to represent for the tall and curvy girls.
“When everything hugs the right places and complements your natural figure you can’t help but feel good. That’s what this whole collection is about,” said Megan in a Teen Vogue interview.

Part of Megan’s clothing line inspiration came from her own difficulty finding clothes she liked that fit her frame.
“Whether it was because the leg length was too short or the booty area was too tight, there would always be clothes or styles I’d [want to]wear, but just couldn’t find that would fit a tall girl with shape,” Megan said.
“I want all the hotties to be able to wear this collection, so working with Fashion Nova who have all the hottest looks at affordable prices just felt organic in that sense,” Megan explained to Teen Vogue.
The hip-hop star used models of all body types to showcase her new clothing line that offers items ranging between $25 and $200.
