Rachel and Alexander Bailey on TLC’s My Strange Addiction

*Just when you thought you’ve seen every strange addiction on TLC’s “My Strange Addiction,” here comes Rachel Bailey and her breastfeeding obsession – not with her newborn, but with her grown-ass husband on the receiving end.

In the Aug. 23 episode, Rachel and Alexander Bailey talked about how much they love sharing the breastfeeding experience. Rachel says she overproduces milk and feeds her hubby roughly a pint of breast milk every day out of “necessity.” She says her issues with mastitis, a painful infection that can occur when breast milk gets backed up into the milk ducts, is the primary reason for her husband stepping in to help.

“My breasts will go from flat to hard as rock super engorged breasts because of just so much milk,” the mother of three explains in the episode, adding: “I definitely need my husband. I personally don’t like breast pumps because I just don’t like that mechanical part of it all. It doesn’t feel good. It’s not natural for me.”

Rachel said that breastfeeding has also led to a closer “bond” with her husband over the past two years, adding: “We’ve been fully breastfeeding and he drinks it. I mean three times a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Sometimes a snack.”

Rachel and Alexander have spoken previously about the breastfeeding situation on their YouTube channel in October 2021. Rachel explained that it all started when she joined her husband and friends on a cruise, and her breasts became engorged to the point that they turned blue. She forgot to bring her breast pump, so without any other remedy, she asked her husband if he would help get rid of the milk.

He’s been hooked on it ever since.

“That’s why I be asking for breast milk all the time,” he said. “A cup of breast milk tastes really good.”

Alexander described the taste of her milk as “sweet liquid gold.”
