Last month during a discussion on the Clubhouse app, 21 Savage shocked fans by saying “I don’t feel like he’s relevant. I just feel like he got fans. … He’s not relevant. He just has a loyal ass fan base and he still make good-ass music.”
Instead of beefing about it, the two rappers collaborated on a single called One Mic, One Gun produced by Hit-Boy.
Since the comment was made several celebrities and influencers have chimed in with their stance on the subject.
Long-time Nas collaborator Cormega compared Nas to 21 Savage, stating that “21 is a building, Nas is a landmark!” Cormega also noted that Nas just won Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2020 which makes him relevant.
Even Michael Rapaport had something to say.
Toy sculptor Steven Cartoccio of Concrete Jungle and Mass Appeal have just released a limited edition Nas statue for toy collectors. The Nas statue comes with 6 interchangeable heads. Concrete Jungle is the leader in making Hip-Hop Statues ranging from Big Sean, Redman, The Notorious BIG and several members of The Wu-Tang Clan.
