*Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic claims he has lost his love of basketball and Twitter users seem to think it has to do with Kyrie Irving.

We reported previously via CNN, Kyrie, a former Brooklyn Nets guard, was traded to the Dallas Mavericks last month. The Mavericks gave up Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, and draft equity to complete the deal.

Irving, an eight-time NBA All-Star, requested a trade from the Nets, according to multiple reports. He is now playing alongside four-time NBA All-Star Luka and the two “haven’t been gelling that well since KI came on,” writes TMZ.

Speaking to reporters after the Mavs’ recent loss to the Charlotte Hornets, Luka said “his attitude toward the game has changed of late,” per TMZ but the NBA star refused to elaborate.

Luka said he’s been dealing with personal issues off the court but the Internet believes this has nothing to do with his on-court frustration with his new teammate.

Kyrie, meanwhile, has spoken out about how it’s been rough getting adjusted to the transition.

Per TMZ, he said… “[W]e’re still feeling each other out in a way of getting used to each other’s efforts and attitudes and temperament. And that’s a real thing. That’s a human thing. That’s a human element. Whether people believe it in basketball or not, there’s a very fine line between winning basketball games and everyone being on the same page and losing basketball games and things splintering and pointing fingers.”
