*Omarion’s dancing is putting a questionable spotlight on him. We’re referring to a viral video the artist posted recently as the source of comments questioning how skilled the former B2K member’s moves really are in current times.
In the short clip, Omarion is seen skirting, jumping and spinning on the dance floor at Mihran K. NoHo in Los Angeles. The smiling entertainer’s song of choice for his freestyled performance of footwork and upper body movements was the Karen Nyame KG song “P.L.L.”
In the caption that ran with his post, Omarion wrote “Happy Saturday” to his followers, with an encouraging message, “Go do something you love.”
Since its posting, Omarion’s dance video has received a mixed reception on social media, with some responding with fire emojis and praise for what Madame Noire described as, “the singer-dancer’s non-choreographed combination of ankle twisting, foot tapping and head bobbing,” according to MadameNoire.
“You exude freedom thru this dance,” read one response while other users replied with “The king of dance,” “Effortless,” and “The king of dance moves like water… such grace and substance that always leaves me in awe,” respectively.
Still, it would not be social media without the opposite occurring.
In this case, the critics commenting on The Shade Room’s posting of the Omarion video on the site’s Instagram account reminisced over Omarion’s dancing back in the day compared to how he comes off in the here and now.
“When I was younger I used to think Omarion used to eat the dancing up. Maturing is realizing he just be doing random ass moves 😂😂😂.” someone said about the 38-year-old “Icebox” vocalist’s talents.
“Now that I’m older… I realize this dude can’t really dance,” another person shared.

“Omarion was the biggest lie of my childhood. This ni**a can’t sing or dance,” a third commenter negatively expressed.
