Power is back in force! Starz kicked off the fourth and final season of Power Book II: Ghost by hosting a VIP screening party inside the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. In addition to recognizing the cast of the acclaimed series, the entire Power Universe was on hand to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the franchise, which launched on the network in 2014.
EBONY was on the carpet to get the goods on the series’ upcoming, explosive final run. “It’s going to be so crazy, a lot of twists and turns, a lot of what you don’t expect…it’s a magnifying season,” exclaimed Lovell Adams-Gray, who plays tormented drug lord Dru Tejada.
Before screening the season’s premiere episode, Power co-creator and executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson took the stage to reflect on the Universe’s ten years of existence. “My idea to push diversity; it’s going to work. It’s been working to this point, [and]it’s going to continue to work,” he declared.
