OUR ROOTS – Paul Bogle – EURWEB

*As a national hero of Jamaica, he was also a Jamaican Baptist deacon and activist. OUR ROOTS throws a spotlight on Paul Bogle who is referenced in many works of Jamaican culture. OUR ROOTS journalistically documents Black history visually and in written form, taking many back to many years ago and to know and appreciate those who endured a lot, many with their lives, who paved way for the greats of today. There are African Americans of Jamaican heritage spread across the U.S. who are also celebrating Black History Month. In one of my presentations on OUR ROOTS, I was asked some time ago if I would be able to sustain OUR ROOTS as a cartoon documentary. I said in my answer, that as long as the black race is in existence, there will always be someone, someplace, or thing to write about and include in the illustrated feature. Some histories do not have pictures but with research, I come up with images to use OUR ROOTS to tell stories visually and to inspire many to draw. Bogle is in good company with other Jamaican National heroes including Nanny of the Maroons and Bob Marley.

Nigeria's Senate election - Confused Voters - EURWEBNigeria’s Senate election – Confused Voters – EURWEB

Everyone is talking Nigerian Elections
Aside from the Nigerian Presidential Election, the Nigerian Senate Election is also on Saturday 25th February.

Nigerians on various WhatsApp Forums are bombarded with news (I am a victim too) about the elections, fake news or not fake news, and photos, posted, photoshopped or not photoshopped to make Political opponents look either very bad or ugly and to make their choice of Politician to lead them to look good.
