Keith Lee – TikTok
*TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee recently tried Houston Hot Chicken and gave it a low rating. Now the owner of the Orlando-based restaurant, Kwame Boakye, has responded to Lee’s criticism of his food.
“No person’s opinion can change anything for what we do. So, absolutely 100,000% don’t give a crap about anyone’s review, including Keith Lee’s,” Boakye said in his video response, The Blast reports.
According to Lee, the team at Chicken Fire reached out to him and asked him to visit and review the menu.
“I paid for my food. I gave my own opinion like I said I would. But now, after the review, you say multiple times that my opinion doesn’t matter,” Lee said in response to Boakye.

Lee claims he and Boakye met in person, and the Chicken Fire owner told him he wanted Lee’s “true, honest opinion regardless.”
“You want my honest opinion, yet my opinion doesn’t matter. You’ve posted multiple videos on your account and your business account,” Lee continued. “As well as a full 18-minute video.”
Lee added, “In my original video, as always, I stated it was my only opinion. While I agree wholeheartedly that my opinion should never be the end all or be all, and people should experience it for themselves if they want to, I am not a fan of you saying on multiple occasions that my opinion doesn’t matter at all and no matter what I say it doesn’t matter because I was asked to come and I was asked to give my opinion.”
Lee further explained …“Even when it’s something I’m not a huge fan of, I try my best to be constructive and not be completely negative. Which I wholeheartedly believe I did in this situation.”
In his original critique, Lee said he had to sign a waiver before receiving his order, which included the popular spicy tenders dubbed ‘Houston We Have a Problem’. The restaurant also supplied him with gloves to keep his hands from getting messy and an ice cream beverage to cool down his mouth from the spiciness.
“I’ve been here before, but last time I got the second to spiciest tender. This time I got the spiciest,” Lee said in the video. “I got six tenders gradually going up in the heat.”
Lee noted that he was told, “The only thing that helps you is gonna be ice cream.”
“I gotta let my mouth cool down before I go to that last one. My nose is starting to run, and it just keeps getting worse,” he continued while reaching for the ice cream drink. “It’s always been a dream of mine going on ‘Hot Ones,’ which is making me rethink that dream.”
