Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez were involved in a sexual relationship. The prosecution also alleges Lanez shot Megan in the foot.

According to the state and Meg’s assistant Kelsey Harris, the three left Kylie Jenner’s party, which was held at the Kardashian sister’s Los Angeles home, along with Tory Lanez’s bodyguard and driver, Joaquin.

Megan was expected to be dropped off at home, but never made it, as Megan and Tory were engaged in a heated argument in the car.

The disagreement was sparked by statements by Megan, saying Tory “wasn’t a good artist.”

At that point, Harris jumped into the argument, supporting Megan’s statements. Megan told Joaquin to stop and to exit the vehicle.

After lunch, the defense is expected to release their opening statements, according to SOHH correspondent TK Trinidad reporting live from the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Bodycam footage captured police asking everyone one by one to exit the vehicle.

The footage in the courtroom revealed a hobbling Megan leaving pools of blood behind her.

It also captured Megan in the ambulance, bleeding and crying. The state also presented a call from Tory Lanez in jail, where he called Harris at 9:05 a.m. the next morning and asked what hospital Megan was admitted to.

During the call, he also apologized to Megan through Kelsey. However, he was not specific about what he apologized for. Then, at 8:59 p.m., he sent a text message to Megan that read, “I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart.”

The court is expected to resume at 1:30 p.m. on Dec.12 and begin with the defense’s opening statements. Megan Thee Stallion is expected to appear in court on Dec. 13.

Stay tuned as SOHH will continue to provide non-stop updates on the ongoing shooting case.
