The “Diet Coke” artist announced his resignation from G.O.O.D Music during an interview with XXL in light of Ye’s anti-semitic comments from a few weeks ago. He said he hasn’t spoken with the “All Falls Down” artist since then.
Pusha did confirm he is still working with Def Jam.
The Virginia native also touched on his decade-long beef with Drake and the subliminal disses that the “Rich Flex” artist has thrown his way.
“Everytime I hear a subliminal,” the Daytona rapper said. “in one of his songs, it just lets me know how deep it hurt him. Because it’s been four years now, and we are still talking about it. He is, I don’t. I’m cool. But every time it’s subliminal, I’m like, ‘Yes, it burns,” it lets me know I love it.”
Earlier this year, in a song with Jack Harlow, “Have A Turn,” Drizzy took jabs at Pusha T indirectly.
Unlike Pusha T, an NFL Wide Receiver announced he’s standing alongside Kanye in his President position with Donda Sports.
Recently, NFL receiver and friend of Kanye West, Antonio Brown, showed his support by simply tweeting #DONDA and choosing to remain the president of Donda Sports amid the controversy of Ye’s comments.
