Queen Latifah believes style is a “never-ending story.”

The rapper and actor has lived through “many, many” different eras of fashion. She said she believes how someone dresses and presents themselves is very personal.

“Style is a never-ending story because I think style is a bit of a mindset … Style is everywhere. It’s everything: it’s emotion; it’s an attitude — but it is sort of timeless,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Bessie actor is amused by the recent revival of 90s fashion.

“Get back in those baggy jeans, oversize this and that. Things go around and come back around. It’s fun to watch it happen,” she quipped.

The star is the new face of Good American’s latest campaign. Latifah said she is a huge fan of the brand — which was created by Emma Grede and Khloé Kardashian — and likes everything from the “people who back it” to the “people who wear it.”

“I’ve worn Good American for quite some time now in various projects. I’ve worn their jeans on ‘The Equalizer’. I’ve worn a suit of theirs at the Super Bowl, to an after party. I wore a denim outfit just the other day to my bodyguard’s 60th birthday. We partied all night,” the Living Out Loud actor added.

Latifah said she admires Good American’s size inclusivity.

“This works for who I am and the women and people who I speak to,” she said.

Meanwhile, Latifah is set to be the subject of an upcoming biopic, and she’s excited to be able to tell her own story.

“We’ve been talking about it for a while,” she said. “We’ve seen a lot of people tell our stories who weren’t there and really have no idea how much more involved these stories are. It’s important to see how it all happened from people who were actively in the room.”
