SWV discuss their hit Bravo reality show with Xscape on “Sherri”
*For anyone who watched the members of SWV on “Sherri” last week, it was clear that things between their group and the ladies of Xscape have gotten so bad that any hope of repair seems lost.
On Thursday’s broadcast, Taj, LeLee, and Coko agreed that they regretted doing the Bravo reality series, “SWV & Xscape: Queens of R&B,” and their relationship with the Atlanta-based quartet appears to have reached the point of no return – both professionally and personally.
“I do have a little regret. I knew going in it was going to be a little stressful, but I wanted it to be fun, I wanted us to go back to the ’90s and relive our youth and have so much fun,” Taj told host Sherri Shepherd. “It wasn’t anything that I thought it was going to be, so I kind of regret that part. I feel like now, we’ll probably never be able to have that again.”
Coko cosigned, saying of Xscape: “Too much has been said, too much disrespect, it’s just been really crazy and I was not expecting it like that at all, I thought it would really be cool.”
When asked by Sherri if their joint tour will happen, a pregnant pause seemed to suggest that the jury is still out. Cutting the silence, LeLee said diplomatically: “Me personally, I always see the bigger picture.”

Taj added: “You never know. Things can be worked out. We are not going to be anybody’s sidekick and we’re not going to allow you to talk to us anyway. It has to be fair for everybody.”
“Yes, if it’s fair, we’ll be there with our overalls and our flats!” joked Coko, referencing Tamika “Tiny” Harris’ shady comment about SWV’s preferred stage outfits on last Sunday’s episode.
LeLee said: “If anything, it would be really good for the fans. Wouldn’t y’all like to see SWV and Xscape?”
The crowd’s enthusiastic response is a sign that it would behoove the ladies to compartmentalize their beef and get this bag.

The relationship between Xscape and SWV began to sour after Xscape’s Kandi Burruss cited the group’s higher social media following in asserting that SWV should open for them on the tour, and not co-headline as SWV had assumed. Later, Kandi and Coko clashed over what song should end the setlist.
