*Webbies, it’s about that time to clock out and be outside for the weekend. But check out the Social Heat stories we got for you. Baby doll Ryan Destiny is releasing a collection with PacSun. “I was very, very hands-on. I wanted it to feel like things that I would personally wear, an extension of me, and something that does feel affordable. I was instantly inspired by a bunch of other things around me, whether it be a random thought in my mind. Sometimes I would sketch stuff down, send it over to them, and they would send the actual sketch back to me, and then things would sort of keep transpiring from there. It was always a fun process with my stylist [Scot Louie] as well, helping me throughout the whole process. There are a lot of things that sometimes I question myself with and he swoops in and it’s very direct – yes or no,” the actress-singer said to The Morning Hustle. “Some things I cross out and I immediately am just like, ‘No, this doesn’t feel like me.’ From then on comes the samples and we have the models try them on. The first collection, I tried on everything instantly and that really helped and it was more exhausting than I think people think. All those little steps and tweaks and having certain things fit a certain way is super important to me because I like things to feel oversized even when it’s a size small. They let me pick my own photographer and give all the inspo of what I want the direction to be. It’s really great to work with a company that really gives it to you, trusts you, and helps you along the way, so I’m really thankful for them.”

Patti LaBelle had a time last night at Usher’s “My Way: The Las Vegas Residency,” dancing and doing her signature Patti jig. She was gettin’ down to Ginuwine‘s “Pony” during intermission. She posted some pictures with Mr. Raymond on IG and captioned them, “I’m so glad I was able to catch @usher’s show in Vegas before my concert in Primm, NV tomorrow night because it was AWESOME! Thank you @usher and your whole team for treating me like a queen! And if you haven’t seen his show yet, this is one you do not want to miss!” Some out-of-pocket fans asked her if she knew any of the words to Usher’s top hits, a dig at her messing up the Tina Turner tribute during the BET Awards. Now you vagabonds on the interwebs will have to ease off of our Sweet Potatoe Pie Auntie. As a 79-year-old performer, Ms. Patti gave us 46 great years of stellar entertainment. Plus, the BET Events staff members had people seated right in front of the teleprompter blocking her view of the lyrics, shame!

Fantasia‘s “The Color Purple” cast members surprised her with a cake for her burfday, bringing the songstress to tears. Happy bday, sis!

Netflix’s Strong Black Lead gathered a carousel of tweets from fans who watched “The Perfect Find.” In contrast, other fans in the comment section gave less than stellar reviews. We will watch this weekend in between our self-care activities and rate the flick for ourselves.
