SiR reveals his Toronto show has been canceled just like his label-mate ScHoolBoy Q following the Drake & Kendrick Lamar beef.
The fallout from Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s lyrical confrontation is still raging on allegedly. Earlier this month ScHoolboy Q shared that his Toronto show at Drake-collaborated venue “History” was cancelled without a good reason.
Reportedly ScHoolboy Q was still paid for the show so he eventually found the humor in it.
According to Complex, SiR is the latest victim of the Toronto venues’ newly implemented TDE cancellation policy.
In a hilarious tweet, SiR recalled previously bragging his Toronto show wasn’t canceled. Also, it should be noted SiR minded his business during Kendrick and Drake’s back and forth. The show being cancelled makes very little sense especially since he isn’t even in the same genre.
The TDE crew seems to take the cancellations lightly poking fun at one another on social media. ScHoolboy Q wasted no time hitting the timeline to laugh at SiR’s Canadian border issues.
SiR finally responded with his first acknowledgment of the “Not Like Us” drama with a sly joke. For the fans this is a disappointment but for the artists getting paid and receiving the day off is the American Dream.
Perhaps that is something Canadians might not understand, we will always take a paid day off around these parts.
