After releasing her first album in five years and earning her first Grammy win, SZA has been crowned Billboard’s “Woman of the Year” for 2023.  The “Kill Bill” singer spent seven weeks on Billboard’s 200 with her chart-topping project “SOS.”

SZA will also be honored at Billboard’s “Women in Music” Awards on March 1 in Los Angeles.

Grammy season has come and gone. This time during the ceremony, Queen Bey left with a new milestone under her belt. She became the most awarded artist in Grammy history with a total of 32 wins at the 65th annual ceremony on Feb 5.

After becoming a mom and landing a role on hit TV show, BMF, Kash Doll is not letting go of her music capabilities. The Detroit native just dropped her newest project, Back on Dexter, with the help of DJ Drama.

Along with the 11-track album, Kash Doll also released visuals for a song on the album called “Oh Boy,” featuring Skilla Baby, Cash Kidd, RiskTaker D-Boy, and Baby Money.

The Grammys night was special for many stars, but especially for Lizzo, who took the time to let her fans in on the moment. She became the first Black woman to win “Record of the Year” since Whitney Houston in 1994.

The award-winning actress also went home with an award at the 2023 Grammy ceremony for “Best Audiobook, Narration & Storytelling Recording” for her memoir Finding Me. This win snagged her EGOT status, as she became the third Black woman to achieve it, joining Jennifer Hudson and Whoopi Goldberg.

More than ten years after its release, Nicki Minaj’s “Roman Holiday” entered the top five on iTunes in the U.S. Still, no Grammy for the Queen to ever do it.
