Rapper/singer Trve releases debut album ‘Doppelganger’, promoting latest single ‘Day and Night.’
*“Music has always been a part of me,” said Trve, a rapper/singer from Atlanta, about his music career that was launched in 2018 with the debut single release “Paradise” on Sony/Orchard.
Trve recently released his debut album “Doppelganger” (Magic Music) and its latest single is “Day and Night” featuring EDM’s Ken Shibata. Also, a songwriter, producer, DJ, and model, Trve was born Patrick Trevor Nelson, Jr. in Atlanta, Georgia. Featured artist Ken is also a Pop music producer, DJ, and label owner.
“I play guitar and over the years more and more I got into it,” said the 23-year-old about his skills. “Slowly gained recognition…started doing shows…and did artist development.”
Other singles released include “Dreaming” featuring Reggie Mills in 2018; “Can’t Go a Day” in 2019; “Vybez” in 2021; “Demonz” in 2021, and “Don’t Stop” in 2022 off the “Doppelganger” project. His influences include Shawn Mendes and Drake.
“The album is out now…each song is different,” Trve said when asked. “Doppelganger means an alternative copy of yourself. Some songs are Popish, there’s Urban, Hip-Hop…just a variety.”

“I’ve always been unique and fresh,” Trve added. “To be successful in music you have to be different…have to stick out, but also be yourself. I grew up listening to all genres of music, so lots of the music on the album is stuff I was going through in my life.” www.TrveMusic.com
