The love for the Notorious B.I.G was present, some performers wore the classic Bad Boy jerseys and covered his songs; paying tribute to the legendary member.
The audience stood out of their seats and some spilled over into the aisle, rocking back and forth—singing along to songs as loud as they could, bonding with other audience members that were enjoying themselves just as much.
“It was electric, it was just amazing,” Crawford explained the feeling on stage, “The energy almost took you through a portal to the 90s…it was just electric—you can’t really explain when it’s electric, it’s like a feeling.”
He went on to elaborate on the crowd’s energy, “We feed off the crowd, we are going to give a good show regardless, even if the crowd isn’t into it, we still going to give it to em’, but when the crowd gives it to us—it going to be that much more of an amazing show because we are feeding off their energy.”
Crawford shared that they will be doing cover songs from another label, with an umbrella of classic hits. Wyldebunch previously covered Death Row records—Daunte mentioned he has a list full of names that the musical group will be working through, he guaranteed Wyldebunch is worth bookmarking their next show.
Performer and noted director, Neesin said, “Being able to not only perform but also, celebrate songs from my childhood, with my brothers and sisters and a packed out house—I’m blessed.”
