*Two Texas men were arrested for allegedly stealing over $1000 work of oxtails, steaks, and seafood from multiple grocery stores.

According to MadameNoire, the carnivorous bandits made off with “almost 50 packs of expensive cuts of meat,” the outlet writes, but were busted at a traffic stop.

Anthony Trevino, 30, and Robert Stevenson, 31, were arrested on Nov. 1 after being pulled over by police for unknown reasons near the freeway in Spring, Texas. Sergeant Amaya with Constable Mark Herman’s Office became suspicious after “discovering pounds of unbagged oxtails, steaks, briskets, lamb chops and shrimp in the backseat of the Cadillac,” per MadameNoire.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department, the men had 46 packs of meat totaling $1,129.

Trevino and Stevenson nabbed oxtails, shrimp, lamb chops, and brisket from four stores – Walmart, H-E-B, Food Town, and Kroger, MadameNoire reports. The pair were charged with aggregate theft and booked at the Harris County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
