Nationwide — Will Smith recently addressed rumors linking him to Sean “Diddy” Combs. The Oscar-winning actor denied any involvement with the music mogul’s alleged crimes and set the record straight about the memes circulating online.
In a video shared on TikTok, Smith spoke to the audience during a performance at the Observatory North Park in San Diego. He responded to online memes connecting him to Combs, according to TMZ.
“I don’t have s— to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all them memes. You can stop all of that bulls—,” Smith said. “I ain’t been nowhere near that man, ain’t did none of that stupid s—. So whenever y’all hear it, if somebody say that, it’s a damn lie.”
Smith, now 56 years old, has been photographed with Combs at industry events in the past. However, he made it clear that he had no connection to the allegations surrounding Combs.
Combs, who is 55 years old, is facing serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering after being accused of having forced women into sex performances. Combs has denied all allegations and he remains in custody until his trial in May 2025.
Smith, who recently released a new song called Tantrum, also lightened the mood with a joke, saying, “I don’t even like baby oil,” referring to items reportedly found during a raid of Combs’ homes.
He added, “But, no, having said that publicly. Y’all the first time. I usually don’t respond to dumbass stuff because it’s so many things. People say so much stuff. But that one — your memes was doin’ too much. Y’all was having me mad.”
